The fourth week of the build season was a busy one for GUS Robotics. The team has worked hard to complete the Chairman’s and Woodie Flowers Awards for the deadline on February 6th. The robot has not been fully CADed with the exception of the climber, and we are working on machining the remaining parts that we can. The design for the robot is finally finalized, and the team has ordered all of the parts that we need to purchase or have machined. We would like to give a special thanks to our sponsor R&D Precision for stamping the gusset plates for our robot this year! They are an amazing aid to the team that is always willing to help us produce parts we would otherwise not be able to make in a timely manner.
